The UA-50 Universal Handset & Headset Amplifier is a business-grade inline amplifier that boosts incoming calls up to 45 dB on virtually any corded business phone — and uniquely lets you amplify either the handset or a headset with a simple one-button switch. Connect it between your handset or headset and the phone base, and transform a standard office phone into a hearing-loss–friendly workstation.
Digital Sound Processing (DSP) strips out the distortion, echo, and static that loud volume usually adds, while Digital Tone Enhancement lifts the speech frequencies that are hardest for you to hear. Automatic Gain Control keeps the volume steady and comfortable as callers' voices vary. A 6-position compatibility switch (plus bypass) matches the UA-50 to your specific phone system for the clearest possible sound.
The AC adapter is included — just plug in and go. An optional 9V battery (sold separately) provides backup power during an outage so you never lose a call. A matching headset, the UA-50HS, is available separately.
