The TV-Direct Wireless Earbuds deliver private listening — you hear every word of your TV clearly, through lightweight earbuds at your own volume, without disturbing anyone else in the room and without being disturbed by what they want to hear. Wear the over-the-neck receiver comfortably for hours; the earbuds sit close to your ears so dialogue comes through crisp and natural.
The receiver includes sound-enhancing tuning for amplified dialogue and a tone control to shift the balance toward speech. Auto-volume helps level sudden loud audio so commercials don't blast. Audio travels over zero-lag 2.4 GHz RF (not Bluetooth) — perfectly in sync with the picture, up to 100 ft from the base. The base connects to your TV through optical, coaxial, or 3.5 mm — whichever your TV offers.
The built-in rechargeable batteries give about 8 hours of listening at a comfortable volume. Rest the receiver on either docking station to recharge — the base charges up to two receivers, so a second listener can charge while the first is in use. A 5-minute auto shut-off saves battery if you set the receiver down and walk away.
